Q : What hours do you offer?

A: We operate a 24/7 ,365 days per year service with somebody able to assist you with advice and support out of hours via our on—call management process.

Q : Are all your staff qualified?

A: We provide all staff with the regulatory required training, skills and knowledge to carry out their role effectively and safely. As an organisation we believe firmly in the professional development pathway and will support qualified programs that benefit our clients , staff team and the organisation.

Q : How do I know you will offer me a good service?

A: Our last Inspection report can be found on the CQC (Care Quality Commission) website. Link: https://www.cqc.org.uk/location/1-2420757113 We were rated “GOOD” across all areas. This is an excellent achievement and shows the commitment, care and support we give, from the Directors all the way through the team to the Carers.

Q : Will I have a different carer every time?

A: No, our carers work in teams, and they will become a familiar face as you get to know them.

Q : Are my family welcome to be around when the carers are here?

A: Absolutely! We are here to support you all, not just you, in our commitment to be inclusive and we welcome input from your close family network.

Q : What if I don’t need personal care; will I be wasting their time?

A: Not at all. We are more than happy to sit and chat over a cup of tea. Our ethos is “Whole Life Care”. It is just as important to provide company as well as more complex care needs

Q : What if I need extra hours occasionally because my family are unable to support me?

A: No problem; just call us and we will do our best to support you to get the extra time you require.

Q : Could you go on outings with me, such as shopping trips?

A: Yes, we accompany clients on Social Inclusion calls to any type of event. This may be a picnic, a museum visit, swimming, shopping trips and many other things.

Q : Could you accompany someone to appointments?

A: Yes, we can go with you to all your appointments.

Q : Could you accompany someone to visit family?

A: Yes, this is part of the Social Inclusion calls that we can offer.

Q : Could a carer go on holiday with me?

A: Yes, however this is a discussion to have with the office team and the commissioning body, as a full Risk Assessment and a comprehensive plan would need to be put in place.

Q : Are the carers able to do household tasks such as changing bedsheets if needed?

A: Yes, of course! Our carers can do all kinds of tasks around the house including cooking, cleaning and laundry.

Q : How long do the carers stay when they visit?

A: It varies, the minimum time we support is 30 minutes we have no maximum .

Q : If I would like to go swimming, is this possible?

A: Yes, we have carers able to swim.

Q : Are the carers able to give medication?

A: Yes, we have robust training and procedures in place allowing carers to administer or support with medication.
