Service user guide

What to expect when your care begins

Understanding your care agreement

Every new Service User receives a Service User Care Contract, the Service User Guide and any other relevant information. Where appropriate, these documents are also provided to their legal representative. Before the agreement is signed, we give you the time and support you need to understand it.

Consent and signed copies

Care2Care signs its part of the agreement, and the Service User receives a copy of the completed contract. Consent must be informed and given freely. If a person can make their own decision, we provide information in an accessible format to help them understand their options.

Keeping your agreement secure

Care2Care stores its copy of the contract securely in the Service User’s file and handles it in accordance with data protection law.
